Fire Rover | Catastrophe

On of my favorite scenes from the short explainer I did for Fire Rover. Showing the destruction that can happen when hazardous materials go un-monitored in the work place.

I had to push my self to find a way to animate the fire in an easier fashion than by hand or cel, and was really happy with the solution I came up with: Using a particle generator as a matte for the base color then giving the whole layer a black stroke.
