Wix Playoff: Take the Playground 🏀

My entry into the Wix Playground playoff.

I started the concept based around the geometric shapes and lines found on sports pitches/courts, themes that reminded me of being back at school. After drawing up a couple of rough ideas, I ended up creating a somewhat geometric typeface from the scamps. (If there's any interest, I'd be happy to finish the rest of the characters and numerals and make the font available)

The bold shapes lend themselves nicely to the playful 3D composition, which I have combined with a contrasting primary colour palette.
