Course Builder UI

Developing educational systems is a tricky business: one best split into parts. Online education can take many forms, too, from websites, to online video, to interactive quizzes, to reading material.

For our work for RedVector—a leader in online training for fire fighters, EMS, and public servants—@Ayana Campbell Smith and I worked together to build a UI that lets educators take atomic pieces and organize them into lesson plans. We also allowed their team to add new content types over time, building a system that grows with them.

Here, we mocked up the general flow of adding/deleting course components within a course module.
