Los Angeles Aztecs
Team 4/32 of #TheUFLProject – the Los Angeles Aztecs.
The Los Angeles franchise was named the "Aztecs" in honor of the rule of the Aztec empire in the early 1400-1500s. The Aztecs were expert hunters and gatherers with a powerful military tradition, each member of society wearing a specific headdress signifying their rank. The most elite warriors would bear the head of an eagle with an open beak, distinguishing themselves for their bravery on the battlefield.
The Aztecs wear a burgundy red uniform paired with black and sand, signifying the color of the ancient temples and ruins.
