For a while, I had been feeling mounting issues related to my relationship with food and my body. Over the summer, I half-heartedly pitched the idea to my partner of doing a clearly-defined program/guided diet to see if I could change how I eat and think about food.
A coworker and friend had started doing "Whole30" earlier this year and it piqued my interest. Following her guidance and recommendation (and lending out her Whole30 guide book), we embarked on this journey Sunday 10/1..... and it was a wild ride! The first two weeks or so was challenging, frustrating, overwhelming, and intense. But, then it becomes your life and becomes your "normal" and you start to realize how you are feeling. I realized i had more energy. I realized my pants were getting looser. I realized I didn't instantly feel bloated and uncomfortable after eating. I realized I wasn't craving food all of the time. And, most importantly - I was feeling better about myself.
So, we are now in the middle of reintroducing the foods we cut out BACK into our diet to see how our bodies react and how we feel when we have __________.
