Restoring Historic Typography

I think I prefer seeing process shots rather than finished and polished products.

The richness of sharing process is that it motivates conversations that dive into feedback, recommendation or motivation. The process also demonstrates your ideas by transparently showing the structure of your process.

Here I am recreating an engraved typeface that has some irregularities and geometric finishes and caps. The craftsman would have precisely made the cuts, but would imbued the piece with the human touch, his/her craftsmanship would be noticeable. And here lies the challenge: conveying the human touch in typography.
