Café du Musée — CAPC Bordeaux

— Introducing that new identity we've done for le Café du Musée!! Opening at CAPC Bordeaux. The circle, a form recurrently found in Richard Long's work, it presents itself anecdotally here, its geometric properties confer a visual harmony to the logo. Mud, the pattern found inside the circle is a work that was done directly on images of the Garonne Black Mud Circle. This work related to the place by its history and to the city is introduced here in the same circle of suggestive way. We distinguish movement and matter, plasticity is preserved. We decided tu use MirageSolide for , a beautiful open font design by Velvetyne. Solide Mirage is an unicase, encouraging the user to stir lowercases and uppercases together.
