Kanji 001-004

Just to be clear, I don't really know Japanese. I have recently started getting back to it. A friend of mine suggested reading this book - Remembering The Kanji (by James H. Heisig). I guess there are three volumes to it. Phew!

Interestingly, the author has started explaining each Kanji by breaking it down into it's smaller primitive parts. So, just to make things interesting, I thought I should try to depict what he is saying in the book as an illustration.

If there are any issues with these illustrations / kanji then do let me know. Feedback appreciated :)

P.S. This project looks very similar to Chineasy and since Japanese and Chinese culture share a lot of the same Kanji’s, some of them will look similar to the ones done by the awesome Noma Bar. Though I will try my best not to.
