Wearly - outfits 👗👡👛

Wearly is a platform for fashionistas (and bargain hunters!) allowing them to buy and sell quality used clothing. For more information, refer to the previous shots in the series. :)

What you’re seeing right now is an „Outfit” page. I think the name is pretty much self-explanatory, but there’s much more to it than mirror selfies (as much as we all love it :D). The idea wasn’t a part of the original brief, we came up with this during the design sprint, as it solves some issues we expected the platform to have initially. We’ll keep an eye for the results, but the hope is it’ll improve key metrics (we discussed user retention when we came up with it), help building the community and make the platform tempting for a whole new demographic (people not really interested in buying/selling purchased clothing [...yet!], but just interested in what’s just behind the corner in fashion - pretty much the userbase of sites like lookbook.nu).

So here’s how it works. An outfit consists of at least 1 item that you’re willing to sell. You tag that item on your outfit photo, which becomes a pulsing dot, linking users to the product page on click. If there’s more than 1 item tagged (which we believe will be the most common case), users will also be able to „buy the whole outfit” (or what remained in stock) at a slight discount. Users can also comment and vote (binary tinder-esque yays or nays) on the outfits, and those with the highest amount of votes get featured on Wearly’s Facebook fan page, which is part of a bigger gamification system we built (and material for a different shot!).

So what’s in it for visitors?
- They can check what’s trendy and make purchasing decisions based on what they see
- They can engage in a discussion, either ask where can they purchase an untagged item they love, or just get the ball rolling on a good ol flamewar
- They can find people / influencers, whose style really appeals to them - in that case, they can follow them and be notified of their new outfits and items for sale, or add their outfit to favorites, building their little lookbook (a pinterest-esque collection of things they love)
- They can purchase the entire outfit with just one click, while also receiving a subtle discount

And hat about the sellers? Well, They get the ability to promote their profiles, but more importantly the items they want to sell, and also do that quicker. Here’s how:
- they can sell items in bulk if someone decides to buy an entire outfit
- they can establish themselves as influencers, gaining followers, which will speed up the sales of their future items (as they’ll be notified of new items & outfits posted)
- they can get featured on the Wearly fanpage, giving them huge exposure and traffic, resulting in yet another sale boost

Pretty happy how it turned out (#humblebrag), but let me know if anything bothers you!
