Blockchain Logo

This is a logo identity design for Blockchain. I wanted to take a simple, minimalist approach to juxtapose what is likely the most disruptive technology in existence.

Blockchain technology is a trustless, alterless ledger that holds and stores information on a merkle tree, which basically means that every piece of stored information or "block" can be connected back to the very first block on the chain. Once the block is stored on the blockchain, it is potentially connected to and reinforced by all other blocks. Moreover, every subsequent block is a layer on top, thus solidifying the unalterability of the information.

Blockchains are very cool, and are the foundation for technologies that are going to disrupt the world.

I hope I didn't butcher that description.
