A for Apple

I created this as an exercise to practice working in After Effects to create a microanimations. I'd love to use Airbnb's Lottie https://airbnb.design/lottie/ for some future projects. I wanted to practice some AE techniques I learned including importing vectors from Illustrator, animating shape paths, and animating the start and end points of a stroke. I made all the designs as a storyboard in Illustrator and then grabbed the vector shapes to animate together in AE. I expected the shape animations to work automatically, but I was sadly wrong, had to do all animations manually. I also learned I should really install a plugin for easing, surprised it is such a pain without a plugin. Looking into motion 2.
