Communion, a symbol of union, was always a sign of discord between us. Is it Christ spirit within us that unites us, or is Christ physically there in our midst? It's something I feel very strongly about, and was something we couldn't participate in as a couple. It's crazy that we can change a sacrament meant to unify us, into something that divides the church into denominations.
