Filip Marek

Custom logo-type solution with an industrial and utilitarian sensibility created for Czech DJ Filip Marak to represent his hard style and individual approach to performance and production. The M and A characters share parallel diagonal strokes to give the identity a sense of forward momentum while the geometric and light line weights of the letter forms deliver an underlying sense of technology, characterising Filips adoption of MIDI controllers and Ableton. A simple grey and white colour palette keeps the identity firmly focused on the music while allowing it to sit comfortably within brightly coloured environments.
