Melody Composer Squared UX and UI design

The biggest challenge for UX of the app was to reveal the unique algorithm for conversion of Music into 2D drawings. As MVP product, it should explain the core idea of music visualization without a long tutorial. On the other hand, any design elements could not be more attractive than a visualization result because on MVP stage a color mapping of musical chords doesn't display yet. Consequently, deliberately simplified UX design was developed and was perceived by consumers and reviewers, as planned.
