Google Fonts FTW

We've started a series about Google Fonts over on @Sidecar's blog. @Chase Turberville starts us off sharing about The Value of Google Fonts .

For this series, I wanted to create a blog header that could be unique but also be a flexible system. Google Font confetti with one hand-held 3-d letter was the solution after I tried various directions.

Why?

Cause it was something I could create in under 6 hours. Time is always more of a constraint than money or skill. It's hard to swallow, especially when it's a rad idea.
