Designers! What helps you decide upon using the cart icon for your e-commerce store designs, or not? There are several icons that serve such a simple yet robust purpose when it comes to online shopping. We have: ✔ The Cart ✔ The Basket ✔ The Bag and several others.

What helps you decide upon which icon to use? We've been noticing that some e-commerce fashion, apparel sites use "The Cart", but then there are other similar industry themed sites who choose "The Bag" option. What kind of design influence do you think it has on an overall design message? We'd love to know!
