About Smarbnb:
Smartbnb is YC Startup School graduate for Airbnb and HomeAway hosts that enables them to automate a huge chunk of the process of booking a trip, from messaging, to calendars, to cleaning, it covers everything so the hosts can provide a great experience at scale while saving their time. This was an amazing value proposition and I love the idea so working to improve the messaging of the entire company was a pleasure!
The Challenge:
With a different price for every customer (depending on how many listings the customer had), it was tricky to make the pricing clear enough so people could calculate their price while realizing they would only pay for profitable listings (huge problem with the current solution).
The Solution:
Initially, the idea was to use a slider but that wasn't precise enough nor it was enough for the huge range of values it needed. The solution was to create two columns where you can keep increasing the base plan to calculate your price while making sure the rest of the info is clear and easy to understand.
