Photo gallery interaction

Exploring unique ways to tie in the iPhone X's Home indicator with the design. In this mockup we combine it with a pagination pattern for a photo gallery.

The idea is that it would be only a visual illusion, as we can't actually move the home indicator. Nor would we change it's native functionality, the user would still be able to swipe up to leave the app.
