2XL Sketch

I'm working on a pretty sweet project; rebranding a luxury furniture and home retailer based in Abu Dhabi. Here is a sketch of the initial letterforms that I've created. I have settled for a fashion Didot inspired typeface as it has a very modern look to it, yet it doesn't look too trendy or hip. The goal was to strike a balance between contemporary and traditional.
