2018 Midwest League All-Star Game logo

The Lansing Lugnuts are hosting the 2018 Midwest League All-Star Game presented by LAFCU on Tuesday, June 19th. It was challenging trying to meld the Lugnuts brand, some unique aspect about Lansing, the sponsor, and baseball, all without being too cliché as a lot of all-star game logos tend to be. The “Luggie face” was a popular addition to the Lugnuts iconography in 2017 so I incorporated that with the impressive new apartment building built in 2015 just past the outfield walls of Cooley Law School Stadium. The building’s unique color scheme added some subtle energy while connecting the sponsor logo.
