Our founders have all worked in the NHS and seen first hand the problems that the NHS and patients face. Through no fault of its own, the NHS is struggling to cope with rising demand from demographic shifts, more complex disease and a funding squeeze.

Our lives are also getting busier making convenience and accessibility key factors that we look for in all the services we use. Whilst the NHS is a great service that will be there for you when you really need it, it can not always provide the convenience and accessibility that people want. MedicSpot was founded to offer a convenient method for people to access healthcare on their terms without having to sacrifice the quality of care that they receive. MedicSpot is a doctor-led organisation which places a greater emphasis on clinical safety above all else.

Far from trying to be a substitute for the NHS, MedicSpot hopes to complement the NHS to ensure that patients get care high quality at a time and place of their choosing. This will improve patient experience and outcomes – leading to a healthier nation.
