Time Out New York: Neil Gaiman

I was the portrait artist for Time Out New York's weekly "Hot Seat" feature for over five years. In that time I got to produce portraits of actors, writers, politicians, athletes, architects, porn stars, and even one inter-dimensional spirit.

This one was one of my all-time favorites, of author Neil Gaiman. I really wanted to make this one good so I put extra effort into it, and I was really proud of how it came out. Years later, I sent a print of this to Mr. Gaiman, who sent back a very nice handwritten note saying how much he liked it!
