Red Sox Scores: September 24, 2017

Game No. 155

The Red Sox found themselves in another three-run hole against the Reds until the eighth inning when Mookie Betts took over. With the bases loaded, Boston’s right fielder laced a bases-clearing double to tie the game. Two batters later, Betts bolted home from second on an infield single legged out by Rafael Devers to give his club the lead. Craig Kimbrel locked down the ninth inning to claim his 35th save of the season and complete the sweep of Cincinnati.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Amy Parker and I are visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. Home games are on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox are always red.
