While visiting the remote Po Lin Monastery and the Tian Tan Buddha bronze statue (the Big Buddha), we observed these monks making a pilgrimage to the site. The Buddha stands 34 meters tall facing mainland China from the village of Ngong Ping on Lantau Island. It is truly breathtaking. I will post images of the Buddha, but I found the monks to be most engaging.
