23&me Haplography Exploration

I got my 23&me ancestry reports a few weeks ago and was checking out the Maternal and Paternal Haplograph reports the other night.

I worked through this haplo viz exploration to better understand my maternal and paternal lineage as I was reading the reports.

- the inner gradient ring represents me, my parents are represented by the rings extending from either side, their parents represented by rings extending from either side, and their parent's parents doing the same
- red circles represent maternal ancestors
- blue circles represent paternal ancestors
- the vector paths with circle nodes represent my maternal and paternal lineage throughout the generations
