When I found out someone was producing a "Jagged Little Pill" Burlesque show in Philly, I was thrilled. I was so excited to see the album performed from start to finish (including the hidden song - "Your House" [my favorite]).

The show was fun, affirming, exciting, emotional, and created the most accepting and powerful environment. Performers of all sizes and gender expressions and identities took the "stage" (a dive bar on top of a restaurant in Old City) and killed it.

I snapped this picture mid-number towards the end of the show. I loved the contrast of the heel and the crumpled dollar bill. The color palette is so unappealing to me, but I love it.
