Red Sox Scores: September 20, 2017

Game No. 152

The Red Sox blanked the Orioles for the second straight game though this one didn’t require more than nine innings. DH Hanley Ramírez went 3-for-5, driving in three runs, while Mookie Betts and Devin Marrero each hit two-run homers in the fourth inning. Chris Sale became just the second pitcher in Sox history — and the first in the A.L. since 1999 — to strike out 300 batters in a season, claiming the accomplishment on his 13th K of the game.

•••• For every Red Sox game this season, @Dan Perrera and I are visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. Home games are on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox are always red.
