RISE Workout Flow
During development of RISE we had to figure out how athlete were going to be able to work through upwards of 10 skills and exercises that included video in a seamless flow.
We analysed the existing paper process and how athletes were attempting to use a web version. The flow we landed on helps explain the overall module the athlete is about to participate in. They’re given an expansive list of all the exercises they will be performing in the work out along with a video explanation.
When they start the workout, each exercise has it’s own video for them to watch along with how many reps and sets need to be done. After a rating we move them to the next exercise and repeat this process until they’ve completed the entire process. Upon completing we give them their entire score and notify them of how they did against their previous score and if they have unlocked the next module.
Feedback so far has been very positive from clubs and athletes.
