Where Have You Gone, Abe Lincoln?

Two things that permeate my design experiments—Abraham Lincoln as a muse, and me desperately trying to design letterforms. Here a wistful longing for civility of spirit and spoken eloquence is paired up with some endearingly awkward, hand drafted vernacular type. Graph paper is a good friend.
