Trip Summary on iOS
I’ve been assigned to working on optimizing the post-booking experience as part of my first Hopper project after joining the team earlier this year.
What was it? Reviewing the “Trip Summary” screen in order to help users finding the information they are looking for more easily.
The Trip Summary is the screen regrouping all the information related to a booked trip. Once you successfully purchase a trip with Hopper, a new tile concerning your purchased trip will be displayed on the “Trip” screen, formally known as the “Profile” screen.
By using progressive disclosure, we are now highlighting the most requested elements first in an easily scrollable resume. Itinerary snippet, travelers and payment information are now displayed right away as well as direct links to contact support or proceed to check-in via the Self-Serve options at the bottom of the list.
Et voilà!
