"Horves" was founded in 1994, and the winery was located in the county of Gloucestershire, in the middle of Forest of Dean, to the west of England.
Part of this forest is occupied by the prehistoric Puzzlewood site. Joanne Rowling loved to visit Forest of Dean and particullary the Paslewood, scenery of which inspired her to create the Forbidden Forest in series of Harry Potter novels.
