Accessibility Evaluation Report

Business Problem: At Greek Yellow Pages, we have a unit that builds websites. On 2013, the Product Manager of this unit asked me to evaluate how accessible were the websites they were building, in order to examine how feasible it was to offer Web Accessibility as a service.

Approach: We picked hotelmetropollarisa.gr as a sample and following WAI's guidelines, I decided to evaluate the homepage for WCAG 2.0, Conformance Level Double A. For the evaluation, I used some automated tools (found inside the report, see section 5) and most importantly my personal opinion-view.
The review process is described in Section 5 and is based on the W3C's Conformance Evaluation method as described in Evaluating Web Sites for Accessibility.

Result: You can download the final report and checklist from my Google Drive. By using this evaluation, Greek Yellow Pages decided both for technical reasons and economical ones, that web accessibility couldn't be integrated as an extra service at that time.
