Abu Dhabi Book Fair 2012

In late 2011, we were asked to modify the visual identity of the company organizing Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. The aim was to provide an integrated visual identity, so that the basic colors of the logo and its icon remain the same.
The biggest problem for us was how to display the project's name to fit the width of the logo in several measurements and locations, longitudinal or transverse.
We started by editing the main icon and reformatting it. We created a special Arabic typeface to display the name. We also designed the support element to reflect the essence of the book fair and its connection to books and offices.
We have added secondary colors to support the visual identity in the announcements of launching and announcing the exhibition during the international participations.
The work was carried out during 2012 and this identity was implemented during the following years until the complete re-design of the identity was renewed in the recently.
