Piku - safety app design

Piku is a smartphone app and hardware beacon that's discreetly integrated into wearable items.

In the event of a child abduction, sexual assault/rape, robbery (or any other kind of attack), the wearer activates the beacon, which is connected to their phone via Bluetooth.

The app then broadcasts a distress signal to emergency contacts through either SMS or if their contacts have the app installed on their phone it will trigger an alarm and display the victims location on a map in real time.

Posting of the visuals from the prototyping. The product should be available for iOS and Android later
