Screaming Mee Mee-e
For this dead brand, Remco's Screaming Mee Mee-e (in both toy rifle and pistol) is transformed from a wordmark to abstract shapes with a particular emphasis on yelling/screaming.
A bit about the Screaming Mee Mee-e pistol:
(from Museum of Play)
Remco Industries’ 1965 Screaming Mee Mee-e Pistol knew how to get attention. When the rifle launched its red shell, the screech it made would not wound your enemies, but it sure could scare them to death. In the years before adults worried about toy guns more than real guns, the Screaming Mee Mee-e Pistol offered bonuses for war play. The rifle version came with a magazine of five plastic bullets to fire, and a pistol could be removed from the rifle too. But it was the sound that sold the toy.
