BattleZoa: Card Design (~2013)

This is a deck of cards I made for an animal unit project when I taught 9th grade biology. All of it was made entirely in Google Drawing because they were used in a template file for the project and needed to be editable by the students.

BattleZoa was a competitive card game where each student selected a species within the group we were studying to research and create a deck of cards for. The abilities and attributes in the deck reflected the characteristics of the species and fit within a game system that allowed the students to 'battle' each other in classwide tournaments at the end of the unit.

The students were presented with a blank template of all the cards and had to fill in all the information. The template was then printed out and cut into individual cards. The final touch was rounding all the corners with a little corner cutting tool I bought.
