Creating with NO RULES is how my process remains strong. This is the aspect of running my own business that I benefit from the most. I've found that higher ups can alter the course of a design process and too many people can get involved. In my experience, when I've designed for a boss, the process is not as free flowing or natural. Get out there and go after a few design jobs on your own and feel the satisfaction!
