Red Sox Scores: September 5, 2017

Game No. 139

After trailing the Blue Jays for nine innings, the Red Sox rallied to tie the game at the last minute, though it would be another ten innings before Hanley Ramírez would drive in the winning run. Boston used 12 pitchers in the marathon game with Hector Velázquez ultimately earning the win. The six hour, 19-inning game was the second longest in Fenway Park’s 105-year history.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Amy Parker and I are visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. Home games are on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox are always red.
