The codes are used to obtain access to car‘s security functions: ignition key erases, ignition key learning, and control module adaptations.
The device to generate such codes is available only on the desktop, which is usually not available close to the car repair site. The app enables car repairmen to access these lock functions of the car on-the-fly using only their mobile devices.
