Product designer transformations

Hi there!

Just wanted to share some thoughts that came to my mind a while ago about the product designer role. A product designer is responsible for the overall experience of a product. He has a wide range of skills as a result of setting big goals and achieving them. He is able to oversee the whole process of designing a product, but when necessary he can go deep in details. Metaphorically, he is someone who is able to see the forest and the trees together.

So the important idea here is that in order to be a truly good product designer, you need to be able switch the way your brain works from a strict perfectionist who focuses on detail to a more abstract thinker, the one who focuses on the larger vision.

The motion was inspired by this shot from the awesome UI8 team.

Hopefully I'll be welcomed to Dribbble. Actually, it's been a while since I was invited by Michal Soukup (thank you, man), but I until now, I was too busy to post.

Stay tuned for more UI explorations that I'm currently working on.
