The Shills "Keep Your Hands Busy" Pt.2

A close up snapshot of the back cover to an album I'm designing for the band, The Shills. Their new record is called "Keep Your Hands Busy" and deals with a variety of personal and social issues that the members sing about. So for this illustration I decided to depict 27 various ways that we keep ourselves occupied rather than dwelling on the negatives of life. Some ways of distraction are as lighthearted as knitting, but some can be as dark as heart surgery of wrist cutting (neither depicted here). There are nine panels per flap of the cd's booklet, and three flaps in all, so it folds out as a long horizontal composition with 27 images in total.
