EXD Website Study

One more shot before we celebrate the long weekend! We are currently in the process of revamping exd.smu.edu.sg, and this is one of the studies that I hope will be considered.

A bit of a background: SMU's Executive Development provides a variety of individual & group trainings/courses for managers, c-level leaders, and the like. The redesign is prompted by some limitations encountered in the CMS, and the team wanted to do it in-house this time so that they can easily reach us when they want to make changes.

A redesign is also a great opportunity to rethink the content in the different pages, that's why I'm suggesting a few elements that weren't there before.

At this stage, the stakeholders are torn on whether to highlight the search bar (as seen here), or highlight the list of upcoming programmes. In this study I intend to go somewhere in between, so you get to see the search bar foremost, then the list of upcoming programmes immediately after it.

Another thing that I wanted to suggest is the addition of the testimonials/client stories in the homepage. I think this is an engaging way to provide proof of how SMU ExD helps its students. Fingers closed that this pushes through.
