StFx Exchange Logo Concept

Hey, Dribbblers! Here is a logo concept that I completed for a startup at St. FX University in Nova Scotia.

It's a web platform that allows students to easily post books and notes they are wanting to sell, search listings, and communicate directly with interested individuals. In the past, this process was normally done through Facebook groups, random book sales, or Kijiji posts. Both not scalable, and at some times, incredibly confusing.

The mark represents the famous "X" logo at the university and uses rounded rectangles to indicate lines of text. The type is a modified version of Montserrat Medium. Alterations include: rounding certain corners on select lowercase letters and shortening the ascender on the 'h' to match the cap height.
