Being a regulatory forum (i.e. serious, boring event) this needed a strong and professional look, but I wanted it feel friendly and have a hint of style considering it is in Miami Beach. The slightly art deco-ish top part represents the event's location, the Loews Hotel.

The client ended up choosing a different variant, but this was my favourite.
