The Sox had their first close game since August 22nd, even though it didn’t work out in their favor. Boston only managed to get one run on the board, an RBI double from Rafael Devers in the bottom of the sixth, while the Orioles pushed two RBI doubles across the plate to secure the win and bring their record up to .500.
