Font Review Journal is Live!

The Font Review Journal is launched! I can't believe it came together so fast, but here it is. The site launches with five in-depth typeface reviews representing different type genres and from a range of foundries. Each review touches on historic influences, shows off the unique characteristics of each font, and spotlights design work that uses the typefaces to great effect. I'll be posting one new review each week from here on out, and you can sign up for the newsletter if you'd like to get updates when they go live.

I'm so proud of how the site turned out, and it never could have happened without the incredible development work @Phil Moody did to bring the site to life. I wanted the site to be informational but still fun to read and I think we accomplished that.

I hope you'll check out the site and that you get something out of the reviews. I don't want typography to feel like something only a select few designers understand and feel comfortable with. All designers should feel confident about their type, and it's my hope that by creating more relatable analysis the whole community can have a healthier discourse about type and we can all get better.

If you'd like to read more about the creation of the site, check out the Medium post, otherwise you should be going to fontreviewjournal.com and checking it out!
