Rhinoceros

There are five different types of rhinos still living today. Each of which is endangered due to humans poaching them for their horns.
On the black market, rhino horns are worth as much as gold and are sold for a various reasons. Some people believe the horns have therapeutic and aphrodisiac properties and grind the them to dust for consumption.
Conservation efforts for these animals are proving to be successful in increasing their numbers. But until we can stop poaching, these animals will always be in danger.
