Longing album cover

This is the second album in a musical series I illustrated. I really had fun studying different scenes in nature and finding the ones that capture the right emotion.

For this album, we wanted to convey a strong sense of longing and desire. The musicians described the intensity of this emotion like something akin to a giant ocean wave sweeping across you. The metaphor stuck with me and I decided to use a similar visual concept and portray a huge wave in the open sea.
