I spent a lovely evening outside this past weekend celebrating local music as part of University City's 40th Street Summer Series (https://www.universitycity.org/40th-street-summer-series). Hanging out with neighbors and community members and enjoying amazing live music was affirming in a way I wasn't expecting.

With all of the hate that has been rising to the surface in the last few weeks (er... months....years....decades....forever), it was like a breath of fresh air to spend time celebrating unique community voices and surrounded by people coming from a place of love.
