Metro NYC App

This spring semester I was given the opportunity to spend it interning in New York and studying design via an independent study. New York City was completely new to me. After exploring endlessly throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and surrounding boroughs I was encountered with the NYC Metro. I was utilizing several apps and daunting maps to get around. Upon my travels throughout the city, I witnessed other travelers frustrated with their phone apps and confusing maps. So I decided to design an app to simplify the complex system and only present the most essential information throughout the interface. An app to rely on for real-time alerts, stream-lined routes and live progress.
